About Erin
Hi, I’m Erin, and I’m really glad you’re here!
My path to counseling hasn’t been a straight line. After earning a master’s degree in journalism, I worked in newspapers and magazines, explored the fashion industry, and even tried my hand at wedding planning before spending over a decade teaching Literature overseas. Along the way, I discovered how much I enjoy working with students, which has continued in my current role in education where I work closely with high schoolers. These experiences have deepened my understanding of the unique challenges young people face and further fueled my passion for helping others find their voices, share their stories, and navigate life’s transitions.
I take a client-centered approach because I believe you are the expert of your own story. In our work together, I often integrate tools from attachment theory, cognitive-behavioral strategies, values-based frameworks, and EMDR to best support your goals. Whether you’re navigating a stormy season, figuring out your next steps, or simply need a safe space to process, I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental environment where growth and healing can take place.
I especially enjoy working with children, teens, and young adults as they manage anxiety, depression, ADHD, relational struggles, and life transitions. I also have a passion for walking alongside college students and adults navigating grief, adjustment, and the challenges of new phases in life.
Outside of counseling, you can usually find me traveling, curled up with a good book (especially during a Florida thunderstorm), or spending time with my husband, Chris, and our two rescue cats, Laflouf and Sputnik.
If you’re ready to take the next step, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
