About Liset

Seeking therapy can feel overwhelming, especially if you’re juggling family, work, or simply unsure where to start. That’s why I offer flexible, secure online therapy sessions that bring support to you—wherever you feel most comfortable. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, family conflict, trauma, or big life changes, I’m here to walk beside you with compassion and practical tools that help you move forward.

My name is Liset, and I’m a bilingual Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I provide virtual therapy for teens, adults, and families across Florida, offering a safe space to explore what you’re going through without judgment or pressure. My goal is to make therapy feel approachable and meaningful—something that fits into your life, not something you have to rearrange your life around.

One of the approaches I use is Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), a gentle and evidence-based method designed to help people process distressing memories and sensations more quickly and peacefully. Using guided eye movements, ART helps the brain replace painful images and emotions with calm and clarity—without re-traumatization and without hypnosis. Many clients describe it as a deeply relieving and empowering experience that brings emotional freedom where they once felt stuck.

Who I Work With:

I support clients facing a variety of challenges, including:

  • Anxiety, stress, and depression

  • Family or relationship struggles

  • Trauma, grief, and life transitions

  • ADHD, mood disorders, and emotional regulation

  • Low self-esteem or feeling stuck in unhelpful patterns

  • Challenges unique to the Latinx community, including identity and cultural stress

  • Aging, caregiving, and life role changes

As a Spanish-speaking therapist, I understand the importance of cultural identity and how it shapes our experiences. Whether you’re working through family expectations, generational conflict, or simply trying to make space for your own voice, I’m here to support you in a way that feels culturally attuned and respectful.

My Approach:

Therapy with me is a space where you can feel seen, heard, and supported—no matter what you’re carrying. I use a blend of evidence-based techniques tailored to your specific needs, often drawing from solution-focused, strength-based, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) approaches. My goal is to help you build clarity, improve emotional balance, and feel more grounded in your everyday life.

I also bring several years of experience working with children and teens. Many families come to me when communication has broken down or emotional tension is running high, and we work together to rebuild connection and understanding.

Why Online Therapy?

Virtual therapy is more than just convenient: it’s effective, flexible, and private. Whether you're a busy parent, a student, someone who travels often, or just feel more comfortable in your own space, online sessions can make it easier to show up consistently and do the work. There’s no commute, no waiting room, just a calm space for you to focus on your growth.

If you're curious about how therapy might help or want to talk about what’s been weighing on you, I invite you to schedule a free 15-minute consultation. I'm here to answer your questions and help you decide if this is the right fit.
